Step by Step guide to fix MMS errors

Date:

When you send an MMS message, you will receive a message saying “failed to download attachment from multimedia message” This is a common error that can be fixed with these steps.

Step 1: Turn off the cellular data on your phone

The first step is to turn off the cellular data on your phone. The more you use your phone, the more likely you are to get distracted. Turn off the cellular data so you’re not tempted to use your phone while you’re driving. This is a great way to stay focused on the road.

Step 2: Next, change the maximum size limit to 280 characters.

Your text message can then be 280 characters long.

MMS stands for Multimedia Messaging Service. When you send an MMS, you will receive a message saying “The message could not be sent. Your message was too large.

Try sending the message using a lower size limit.” This is a common error that can be fixed with these two steps.

Step 3: Turn on Auto-Mute on your phone.

This feature automatically silences your microphone when you receive an MMS. For Android users, this setting is showing in the More Settings sub-menu under the Auto-Mute heading. In iOS 13+, the setting is located under your Generaldashboard heading.

The next step is to turn off the cellular data on your phone. Turn off the cellular data so you’re not tempted to use your phone while you’re driving.

What if someone else sent you an MMS message without your permission? Are you ready to take action?

In a word, no Text messages come with a toggle switch that allows you to send or receive a certain type of message. Sending a message is done through a text message with your recipients specified in advance.

But what if your list of contacts is not ready? Or what if someone else tries to send you a message using the toggle switch that you manually switch based on?

Text messages are opinionated. They must be in one of the following 4 forms when sent through the stock messaging app on your phone.

Step 4: Turn off the Wi-Fi connection on your phone

Turning off your Wi-Fi connection is a crucial step because it will prevent you from accessing social media apps on your phone.

It’s very hard to resist the temptation of checking your phone every 5 minutes for new social media notifications like OgyMogy Facebook, when your phone is right there in your pocket. As humans, we like to check our phones.

And you cannot take a good screenshot of an MMS message without your Wi-Fi turned off. To avoid this opportunity, you should take a picture of the MMS message before sending it, and before you delete this message, save the image to a file on your computer.

Type “#” in the message field. Replace “#” with your SMS provider’s verification code. For an example, type “#14142225”. You will get a verification code displayed in this field. Connect your phone to your computer and open the TELEPORT.DLL file.

Then go to line 1343 and change the value of SENDEREmail to your current mobile number. For example, if your current mobile number is “123–45–6789,” the value should be “smtp.domain.com”.

Then in line 1347, replace the number shown as COLUMNS with the number you obtained in Step 3.

If a picture is worth 1,000 words, an animated GIF is 1,000 words. Unfortunately, most iPhone GIFs do not hold an importance in themselves.

Most times, they are just a waste of time because they get cut off midway. But you can make a GIF of a sent MMS message so it looks original and impressive.

Open the Snapchat Capture app on your iPhone. Click on “New Snapping Content.” You will see a dialog like the one in the following picture. In the Snapping Content section, select “Gif by URL”, and click on on “Add URL”. Copy the GIF URL as shown in the following picture.

Now, you can open the Snapchat sharing sheet and start to record a GIF of an MMS message.
